Shop Hoppers!

We did it again! Drin Becker, Ellen Nelson, Joanie Emge and I spent two full days driving around Montana, trying out new restaurants, spending money, having a lot of fun together visiting quilt shops and buying quantities of beautiful, irrestible fabrics--also known as the shop hop. We had so much fun last year we made plans months ago to do a repeat. And we weren't disappointed. One of our favorite stops was this shop in Washoe--even if you've heard of Washoe, Montana, I'll bet you've never been there! Delightful. The "business loop" was actually a loop--with one business--the quilt shop! We loved it. It was quaint and had a fabulous fabric collection and beautiful quilts everywhere.
And we came across this as we were driving through Red Lodge on our way to Absarokee. Of course, I had to stop and take a picture.
Absolutely amazing what this artist has been able to do with found wood. This could easily be one of the moose we frequently see in our front yard....well, almost.

Just to think you were so close but yet so far from our place. I love the Washoe quilt shop. Laurel also has a nice shop, although I don't recall the name at this moment. Glad you had fun.
Blessings,
Kelle
